Operation Noise Reduction...
I deactivated my Facebook account. I unfollowed a bunch of accounts on Twitter that were either dead, not following back, or simply didn’t hold my interest. I fell asleep watching Hitchcock’s “The Lady Vanishes” this afternoon. I have homework to do. Nothing is permanent. Cheers.

"Did you hear it?"...some words about Radiohead
Yesterday, I woke up to the closest thing to actual serendipity I can expect in my adult life. It may be a condition unique to me, or this moment in history, but it’s never commonplace to wake and immediately discover that one of your favorite “things”, no matter the form, makes itself available to you when you weren’t exactly expecting it.
My “thing” in this...

"Half of what I say is meaningless..."
First of all, please disregard most of the other stuff on this blog. It’s the ruins of a project I may or may not pick back up in the future. Since I don’t really have a proper blog and I feel like Facebook doesn’t really deserve my longer winded ramblings…well…here we are.
So, to get to the point before expounding further (proper journalism style), tomorrow night at...

The Things I Like.
I want to like the things I like
simply because they are likable things.
I do not want to like things
because other people like such things.
I do not want to like things
because such things can be measured to a standard.
I do not want to like things
that are merely things.
Not me.
No.
I just want to like the things I like
because the things I like are likable things.

Dean’s log (date unknown)
Going into Thelonious’s little Zen dungeon is always a bizarre experience. For starters, he insists on not wearing his mask in there. Granted, when anyone goes in there to chat with him, he hangs it over the back of his chair and faces the corner with the little water fountain going so we don’t have to see his face. It’s a lot like trying to...

“It was just a fucking dream, dude”, moans Dean while rolling his eyes…as he normally does. “There was no building. You weren’t in an airplane. You never lived on the beach. That kid never fell off whatever structure you were just describing because those structures don’t exist anywhere unless you wanna go build it. I have a feeling...

(Int: Early morning (4:30am) office/library)
“Not everything relates back to Star Wars, Lost, or The Bible, dummy”, blurts the bitter old scientist from his Victorian-era wing backed smoking chair. He watches the kid shuffle through his record collection, knowing good and well which song he wants to hear, but he’s not gonna find it. “Plus,” he continues,...

Some words and a song...
It’s funny, really…
Maybe you should listen to this while you read, because it’s the soundtrack:
So, yea, I just had a crazy dream. Those of you that talk to me often know that it’s not uncommon to hear me start a lot of conversations of this way. The details of what happened in the dream really aren’t relevant to anything. There was a trip to an amusement park...
